AMÅR Career Day 2027

Amår is Linnaeus University's career day in Växjö and has, since 1985, been the link between the university's students and the business world. The fair describes itself as Småland's largest career day and is aimed at all students on Linnaeus University's various programmes and in all years. According to the fair's own FAQ, a previous edition had more than 80 exhibiting companies. It is free to visit the fair. On the page listing the 2026 exhibitors, the companies are sorted by field of study, including computer science, informatics and media technology, Ekonomihögskolan, construction and engineering programmes, social work, social pedagogy and nursing, human resources and working life, teacher education, and international students. Connect With Colors is used at the fair. You can get a lanyard in the colour that matches your programme, and at the companies' booths colour circles show which students they are looking for. This makes it easier for you and the companies to find each other. About a month before the fair, Amår gets an early start with För-Amår, an evening with inspiring speakers, mingling, CV photography and snacks. The fair day ends with a banquet with a three-course menu and entertainment.
