CHaSE 2026

CHaSE (Careers in Health and Science Exposition) is an annual career fair at Karolinska Institutet held in Aula Medica. The fair started in 2014 and is run entirely by students. It is organised by Näringslivsutskottet (the Business Committee), which is part of Medicinska Föreningen at Karolinska Institutet and is responsible for the association's contacts with life science companies and organisations. The fair aims to connect life science students with companies and is also open to students from other backgrounds who are interested in the life science industry. Exhibitors range from small start-ups to non-profit organisations and large international corporations. According to the fair, more than 10,000 students have taken part over eleven years. The venue has room for exhibition stands, keynote presentations and workshops. Exhibitors include, for example, AstraZeneca, Läkemedelsakademin, Naturvetarna and KI Innovations AB, and the list is updated continuously on the fair's website. As a student you register for the fair via the website. You can also upload your CV in a separate form; it is then shared with participating employers and partners for recruitment purposes, but it does not replace registration. The fair is also looking for volunteers, who receive an official certificate from Medicinska Föreningen.
