DatE-IT 2026

DatE-IT is a career fair at Chalmers for students in computer science and engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering and medical engineering. Chalmers has around 2,000 students in these four areas, and the fair is an opportunity for students and companies in these fields to meet and network. The fair runs 10:00–16:00. The exhibitors are presented in a digital catalogue at catalogue.date-it.se, where you can browse the companies, see the opportunities they offer and find them on the fair map. The exhibitor list and fair map for 2026 are published there. The week before the fair is called Speakers Week, when companies present themselves at lunch lectures. After the fair there is a banquet, which company representatives can also attend. The organisers give concrete advice: go through the catalogue in advance, pick out the companies that interest you and read up on them instead of wandering around aimlessly. Practise a short presentation of yourself. Don't expect to get a job or degree project on the spot; instead ask for a business card, feel free to leave your CV and note down what you talked about. Tailor your CV for each company. Students can also sign up as hosts.
