Elevate Career Fair 2026

Elevate is Högskolan i Borås's big career event, where you as a student can mingle and meet potential employers. The fair itself runs 10:00–15:00 in Balder and Borås Kongress, and the event is free and open to all of the university's students. The university has students in business and economics, HR and personnel, IT, engineering, textiles and fashion, library and information science, public administration, education and health care. The list of registered exhibitors includes around fifty organisations, among them H&M, Skanska, Sweco, Försäkringskassan, Skatteverket, Västra Götalandsregionen and Borås Stad. The day begins with a breakfast event with E-handelsstaden, and during the fair you can have a free CV photo taken. At lunchtime the lecture and panel discussion Rekryterarnas hemligheter takes place, where the first 100 to register are offered lunch. The teachers on the master's programmes at Textilhögskolan also arrange a parallel programme in English. You can apply for a contact talk, a kind of interview, by sending in your CV and cover letter, after which the companies make a selection. In connection with Elevate, the study and career counsellors arrange a career week including a lecture on CVs and cover letters and a LinkedIn workshop. Prepare questions, have an updated CV ready and dare to introduce yourself to the exhibitors.
