JiA Days 2026 (Lund)

JiA stands for Juristen i Arbete and is Juridiska Föreningen's career fair for law students in Lund. Juridiska Föreningen is also the law students' union. Around 80 fair hosts work during the fair itself, and in total more than 100 student volunteers organise JiA-dagarna. JiA-dagarna is a whole week of events. A PreParty marks the start, followed by, among other things, a debate on a topical issue, talks and a case that gives insight into the work at a law firm, where you solve a case in a group and compete against others. There are also lunch, breakfast and court events. All events are held in Swedish. The week ends with JiA-mässan in AF-borgen, where students meet representatives from all parts of the legal sector. During the fair there are contact meetings, 20-minute meetings with employers. Around 25 firms take part, and a CV and cover letter may be required. To prepare, there is Training Day with practice interviews and immediate feedback on the interview, and from some employers also on your CV, as well as the chance to have a CV photo taken. Registration for the events is done in the JiA app and places are limited, so the organisers advise you to download the app in advance so you are ready when places are released.
