LARV 2027 (LTU)

LARV, Luleå ARbetsmarknadsVecka, is a week of industry-linked events at Luleå tekniska universitet. It has been organised by Teknologkåren at LTU since 1983 and describes itself as the largest career week in Norrland. The aim is to help students kickstart their careers and help organisations find tomorrow's talent. During the week there are seminars, workshops, career coaching and lectures. The highlight is the LARV fair, where students and employers meet face to face. According to the organisers, more than 110 companies and organisations are on the fair floor, and LARV brings together around 4,000 students. The fair day ends with a banquet. LARV is aimed at students across the full range of LTU's programmes, including engineers, economists, teachers, lawyers, civil engineering and urban development students, and nurses, from the first year to graduation. Here you can find jobs and degree projects. Through Individual Meetings you can sign up for conversations of about 30 minutes with selected companies, structured roughly like a relaxed job interview. You state whether you are looking for a degree project or an internship, and LARV recommends that you attach a CV. A couple of months before the fair week, Prep-week is held, with seminars on how to present yourself to companies, use LinkedIn and write a cover letter.
