MEKKA 2027

MEKKA is the career fair that Maskinsektionen at TLTH in Lund organises every year. It is aimed at students in mechanical engineering and technical design and is meant to give companies and students a chance to make contacts ahead of working life. According to the organisers, the focus is on interaction, variety and engagement. At the fair you can hear about your opportunities after graduation, look for a summer job, degree project, internship or trainee programme, or simply mingle and hear what the companies actually work with. In the MEKKA catalogue you can read about the companies that are coming. In the days before the fair there are lunch lectures where you can get to know the companies in advance. The sign-up forms are released in each event on Facebook. During the fair day you can apply for a contact talk, a personal meeting of about 30 minutes with a company representative. You apply with your CV, and applying does not guarantee a talk. In the evening, students and company representatives gather for the MEKKA banquet, a formal dinner with food, drinks and student-style entertainment. Tickets for the banquet are purchased.
