Utnarm 2026

Utnarm is an annual career fair run by students from Uppsala teknolog- och naturvetarkår (UTN), the student union for those studying technology or natural sciences at Uppsala University. The organisers describe Utnarm as Uppsala's largest career fair, and around 100 companies exhibit every year. At the fair, companies meet the 13,000 students of the Teknat faculty, who study everything from university engineering and bachelor's programmes to master of science in engineering and master's programmes. Here you can discuss future careers, degree projects, summer jobs and employment, or simply get a picture of the career opportunities available after graduation. The companies are spread over three floors in hus 10 of Ångströmlaboratoriet: the basement, the entrance level and floor 1. If you would rather not crowd around the stands, you can apply for a contact talk: a 30-minute one-on-one meeting with a company representative on the day of the fair, much like a shorter job interview. You submit your CV and cover letter via the student portal, and the companies choose which students they want to meet. The organisers advise you to prepare a few questions and polish your CV. Everyone who signs up for contact talks is entered into a draw for two tickets to the banquet after the fair.
